GPS Maps & Data Tool Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 7, 2026
GPS Maps & Data Tool is a mobile map tool that lets users save markers, attach photos, draw routes and areas, record Flow Me routes, search places, and export selected data. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, how that information is used, and what choices users have.
Summary
- GPS Maps & Data Tool does not require account registration
- The app includes Google Mobile Ads to show ads
- Most app data is stored locally on the user's device
- Location and photo library access are optional and used only for features the user chooses to use
- Place search sends the user's search query to the OpenStreetMap Nominatim search service so results can be returned
Information We Handle
- Foreground device location for current-position and recenter features
- Location data used to record Flow Me routes while tracking is active with a visible foreground service notification

Data may be shared when search queries are sent to OpenStreetMap Nominatim, when export files are shared because the user explicitly chooses to share them, or when Google Mobile Ads processes device, app, and ad interaction information to deliver, measure, and improve ads according to Google's own policies.
Advertising
The app uses Google Mobile Ads. Ad requests may use identifiers, device information, approximate location derived by Google services, and ad interaction data as permitted by your device settings and Google's advertising policies. You can manage ad personalization and related choices in your Google and Android settings.
